December 3, 2015

Relating to Item 43, File ID 2015-1686: Post Employment Legislation

In March of 2014, our Board supported legislation that would revise existing provisions in current law that restricts post-employment for Metro Board members of Metro employees who have participated as a decision maker on any procurement for a period of three years after leaving the agency. This includes all decisions made during the tenure of the employee or Board members. AB 2568 by Assembly Member Bloom that was introduced in 2014 died in committee.
