Develop and issue an industry engagement process (i.e. reverse pitch) to identify private and public operator interest, capabilities, and partnership opportunities to deliver a water-taxi service between San Pedro and Long Beach during the 2028 Games; B. Assess short-term and special-event funding options, including public-private partnership cost-sharing, sponsorship models, federal maritime or mobility grants, and temporary operations funding, to support Games-time service. Such funding source options shall not be eligible for bus or rail operations; and C. Report back to the Board within 180 days with findings such as Public-Private-Partnership structures, a proposed implementation timeline, and any next steps.
