REGULAR BOARD MEETING

DECEMBER 5, 2019

Preamble

Amending Motion by:

Butts, Hahn, Solis, Barger and Dupont-Walker

Related to Item 7: Measure R Ordinance Preliminary

10-year Review and Potential Amendments

Two weeks ago, the South Bay COG took action on the issues of the potential Measure R Decennial Amendment Transfer.

South Bay COG Board supports a Measure R Transfer Amendment Process and urges the Board to develop a process and schedule and include a role for the subregions in the development process.

As the Report before us today explains, a Decennial Transfer Process will

be very complicated and requires a well thought out process that includes all the subregions and COGs.
